Hey there,

I just scored a new sony reciever 6.1 surround system. I added a rear channel speaker(athena as-r1). Does the rear back speaker supposed to sound different or the same as the L/R surround speakers, in terms of treble and bass. Any good info on back surround would be helpful.

The rear center channel should ideally be the same speaker as the surrounds as the information is very similar.
