Thanks guys! I answered my own question yesterday. I used a $2 coupon for The Cat in the Hat DVD that was in the Sunday paper. Worked nice with the Buy 2 Get 1 deal going on....
Thanks again!

The only thing abut TRU taking coupons is that they charge sales tax on the orginal amount before coupon or Buy 2 Get 1 Free offers. Most stores just absorb the amount tax, since most states require tax on before coupun/rebate price. TRU does not.

If I can piggyback on this Toys R Us thread with another question about the store.
I went in to take advantage of their buy 2 get 1 free dvd this week. I know that Best Buy had the same dvd's cheaper. I asked the cashier and she said I could not get the price match AND the offer, because that would be double dipping. I was cool with that. But when a dvd rang up at $1 higher than it was priced I asked if she could change it. She told me she couldn't because the system would recognize that as a price match and therefore wouldn't let me have the offer.
I think that is crap. Most other retailers will adjust the price because it's their mistake and give the special offer or financing. Does anyone have any inside info on this?
