Amazon.fr is selling a box set of Tsui Hark's first three movies. As I know it, it's the first time for these movies to legally hit the DVD format.
I'll be ordering them very soon. It's on pre-order now, but the set should come out on the 17th of April. Kinda pricey at 55 Euros, but the picture quality is probably gonna be awesome.

Oops... Sorry for the lack of info...
A guy at a store in Hong Kong also told me that Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind (that middle picture up there) will have the theatrical version AND the version that was banned in HK. Apparently the HK board didn't like the movie, so Mr. Hark reshot about 40 minutes to make the ending so the board would like it.
Okay, so the English titles are, well, Butterfly Murders, We're Going to Eat You (left pic) and All the Wrong Clues. (Although imdb does list them...)
The extras are just gonna be an interview with Mr. Hark about Butterfly Murders, some featurette with Mr. Hark about Dangerous Encounters..., a doc about Tsui Hark, and trailers, galleries and that kind of thing.

Dangerous Encounters 1st Kind
Is this (Dangerous Encounters 1st Kind) available only in the box set or can it be purchased separately? And are the subs removable or forced? Any recommendations for best online retailer? I've only ever used amazon.fr previously.
