How are "The Graduate," "2001 Space Oddessy," "City Slickers," and Clu

(The last film is "Clue")

I know neither has to do with one another. But I just signed up for netflix and am wondering if people could give me insight on these movies? And yes, when I say Clue, I mean the movies based on video game (or maybe the other way around--I don't know). Thanks!

Clue was just not from your era rypro. It actually is a decent view and it is interesting to see the alternate endings to it.

Good movies all around. First two are classics, the next two are solid comedies.

The Graduate...classic amusing enojyable film, which seems to have been ripped off/copied since..as I noticed lots of stuff that later films copied almost shot for shot.

2001-this will be a controversial opinion. But I find this film highly overrated as a masterpiece of cinema. If you are a die hard Kubrick fan,you may love it. Yet if you are a casual Kubrick fan like myself. You may not enjoy it. I will say the effects are incredible & still hold up well today. But on the whole, the film is just boring as hell. It only comes alive when the terrific classical music plays(I own the soundtrack)...& that is only 20 minutes into the film..then the end credits. Everything inbetween is just nothing at all bordom. If you see something in this film, thats cool..but I really got nothing out of the film at all & I tried.

City Slickers...typical Hollywood group adventure/comedy/drama which is quite popular it seems. It's ok,you may enjoy it. I never really was into this,or the sequel..but that is just me. But since it is a rental & not a buy. Go for it,might as well see if you like it or not....thats the only way to truely find out if you like a film or not

Clue, very clever & amusing film. Has me rolling with laughter at many scene(though many of the jokes are subtle..such as the charecters mannerisms/reactions to things)...especially the surprise ending montage, which I love(have never seen it with only one of the surprise endings) & I think works best with all three endings side by side. Really adds to the absurb humor of it all.

A fun time indeed,I really need to get the dvd now that I thought of it.

All good choices.

2001 is my favorite of the group, and this is from someone who's not a big sci-fi fan. I just remember sitting in awe the first time I saw it.

2001 is my favorite film, and I also think the greatest film ever made, but maybe I'm biased.

The Graduate is simply fantastic.

City Slickers was fun but ultimately forgettable.

Clue, on the other hand, is fun, hilarious, and very memorable.

Good movies all around. I do admit that it took me a couple times to get through 2001 (it was just a bit slow for me) and it's not everybody's cup of tea.

The Graduate is a classic, enough said.

City Slickers is fun but I can think of better Billy Crystal films

Clue is just hilarious. I roll with laughter everytime I watch it.

The Graduate and 2001 are must see films to American film fans and anyone interested in film history.

City Slickers is pretty decent, Daniel Stern quietly steals the movie and is a pathetically accurate. Underrated musing on growing older.

I don't remember much about Clue, but for Michael McKean being pretty decent.

The Graduate is product of the times, so it may seem a bit dated, but still good.

2001: A Space Odyssey is a masterpiece.

I never saw City Slickers beyond a few minutes here and there.

Clue is funny, if you like the performers, get the cold war jokes, or played the board game. And it has one of my favorite closing lines:
Spoiler:
I'm going to go home and sleep with my wife.

The Graduate - Excellent
