texas chainsaw massacre, what was going on during the dinner scene? (spoilers)
there was so much screaming, and cutting, that even on a second viewing, I still don't know what was happening during the dinner scene. it still disturbs me, but don't know why.

due to the wierd cutting around it, (and her non stop screaming), i wasn't sure what the family was doing to her. i know, right before she left, they were trying to get the old man to hit her with something.

Never did see the remake (Don't plan to) so I'm guessing you're referring to the original.
My guess to Sally's constant screaming:

also, i think thats why there is a big pic of meat on the back of the new se, that was some other kind of meat. oh, and in the remake
and i was trying to convince that this would be a good dinner movie. (every saturday, we watch a movie during dinner.) while there is no on screen violence, everything that happens is extremely disturbing.
