Sony DVP-CX985V 400-disc changer?

I am considering buying a Sony DVP-CX985V 400-disc DVD/CD/SACD mega changer, but I was hoping t get some input from people on it. If anyone has any positive or negative comments about it I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I have it and am happy. The picture quality is excellent on my 55" Mitsubishi TV.

i just ordered one today! if it is anything like the dvp-cx875p 300+1 players (i have 2 of these) you will be very happy. the major difference between these players aside from the disc storage is that the 985v has sacd capabilities while the 875p can flip your discs for you with the push of a button!
i got a pretty good deal on mine ($305.95 + $39.95 shipping =$345.9)

here's the link:

enjoy your player!

I have a 985V and I really like it. So far I haven't encounter any problem except that it has some issue reading one of my DVD discs (out of several dozen or so I played). Strange that it couldn't play that particular disc because it has no problem playing on 2 of my other DVD players.

How is it at playing DVD-R & DVD+Rs? My Sony DVP-500 is picky.
