Looking from the previews from both of these movies, this summer is going to rock...I just wonder which one will end up being better?

I have to say Troy. But I'm not discounting King Author at all.

I'm leaning toward Troy mostly based on the cast and director. Plus, while this story has been told countless times, it still hasn't been told as often as the legend of King Arthur. Didn't First Knight come out just seven or eight years ago?

Without a dobut, I think Troy will be better. KA just doesn't have the talent behind it that Troy does... add to that a subpar trailer and I think Troy has the clear advantage.

It's tough to say. I love Wolfgang Peterson as a filmmaker and think he could do amazing things with the material, but at the same time I think Antoine Fuqua is also very talented and I'm curious to see what happens to the Arthurian legend when Jerry Bruckheimer gets his hands on it.
If I had to make a choice I would go with Troy, but I will still be there to see King Arthur opening day.

I decided to pair the two mainly because they both scream "huge battles"! I love the story of Troy, and I love the Arthur legend, and I hope that both will be good. Do you not like Bruckheimer's films??

- Arthur was a Roman soldier recruited from a tribe in the British Isles,
- Gueneviere is some sort of "high-ranking" warrior woman in a Anglo-Saxon tribe,
- Merlin is a druid in that same tribe (I think),
- Etc.
It'll be different, that's for sure . . .
That being said, I think that these two are too close to call. I'm very much looking forward to them both.
Of course, King Arthur does have one other thing going for it . . .
Mmmmmm . . . Kiera . . .

I am thinking Troy will be better, the cast, director and everything else seems to be great, but I'll definitely be seeing King Arthur as well if not just to watch Keira Knightley for two hours.

Troy, all the way. It looks awesome with some great effects...honestly the CG looks pretty damn good. I think many just know it's CG, so they complain it's bad CG, but quite honestly I imagine the real thing would look the pretty close.
Nonetheless, Troy looks epic and good. King Arthur looks...blah. Fuqua has never impressed me, not even his overrated Training Day.
