I just got Steel Battalion but I did not buy Line of Contact because I wanted to get the feel of the controls before I went online and started getting my butt kicked. Is Line of Contact only going to be released for a short time?
I don't know and I don't want to miss out on buying it.

afaik, it is not going to be a limited release. but, imo, you should pick it up anyway.

we are on turn 3 right now (soon, turn 4).

I suck at this game so much...I am beginning to wonder if I am ever going to get the hang of it. I have had since Monday and I am only on Mission03. I think if I went online right now people would be mad because I suck so much

well, a lot of people suck... including myself!

when you look for a game, you can select the level - eg Newbie - and play in those matches.

i've been told that if you sort of get the hang of the game and get thru mission 4, you should be ok for online... i'm on mission 7, and i still get killed online.

this game definately owns me. i'm having trouble with the view, i think i need to buy a larger tv.

Does LOC have custom soundtracks? I think that is the only thing missing from the original. I mean they make you buy the boombox but you can't play your own music.

I bought the game yesterday and tried out the free mission today and got killed...a lot. Young what is your gamertag? Do you want to play online?

afaik, no custom soundtrack... but, i don't use the boombox so i'm really not sure.

my gamertag is GrayDeth... i'm a noob myself so yeah, let's play. if possible, friday at 10 is when a bunch of us gets together.

we need more PRF guys...
