I bought Tenchu...it sucked.

Bought Tenchu. Sucked. Returned it 2 days later.

Got Ninja Gaiden. An AMAZING game!

That's all I gotta say.

My roomate just got Nightshade. It is definitely a different game than Ninja Gaiden. It is more acrade in nature. Either you like the style or you don't. For those who have played Shinobi, this is pretty much a sequel where they fixed all the issues with the first game.

I'll have to give it a try when my roommate is done with it. It focuses more on speed and combos then NG does. Definitely not for everyone though.

Ninja Gaiden is a great game but the controls are identicle to Devil May Cry,so if you played DMC then you played NG IMO with better FX.

I played Tencu for the PS2, it was miserable. You're constantly fiddling with the camera to try and see where to go next. I was a tiny bit curious about how it played Live, though.

The main issue with Shinobi is that it was released at all. That game was a travesty.

blah

I might consider Tenchu, but only when it hits $20. Definitely not worth the $50, IMO.

Yeah, they replaced the boring, monotonous, and dull levels with....oh wait.

That's how much I paid for my PS2 copy.

Hey, is it just me or do they need to beef up some of the sounds effects? I mean the original Tenchu sounds were good for the first game on PS1, but they sound really dated now.

I loved the first Tenchu, but I can't say much for the last two.

Same here. I have the first two Tenchus and i enjoyed them when i first played them. I recently bought Tenchu:WoH on PS2 and thought it was Horrible! I felt like i was playing something old, and not in a good way. I traded it in fast and waited for Ninja Gaiden, now that my friend is one helluva game!

I felt like I was playing a Playstation I game with Tenchu. Choppy graphics, limited movements (when you block attacks, you can't move) I guess I was spoiled by Prince of Persia.

Tenchu is a better Ninja game

Ninja Gaiden is a better action game

Shinobi is a better arcade game

I think Activision made a bad move releasing it around the same time as Ninja Gaiden.
