Are Halo's buttons changeable?

Can you change the layout of individual controls in halo? The jump button on my wireless controller isn't sensitive enough. I would propbably get used to it but if I cold move it to sat the white button which has no problems that would be ideal...

Sorry, there are only set layouts that you can choose. The buttons can't be assigned.

the other alternative is get a controller you can assign buttons to! ie. Gamestar FPS controller etc....

You get used to having to push the Pelican button harder. I hardly ever used jump in Halo (1 player), though.
