SRP is $19.98.

I love this movie; I'll definitely be upgrading.

Ahhh CRAP!! Another upgrade seems to be in order... But for one of my favorite movies I don't really mind.

Great, I love this film....I will gladly buy it again (provided I paid 6$ for the old Artisian version).

I would like to know if this will be the same uncut version.

...and M.Rourke making a commentary.....I love this guy....A great American icon in my book

Cheers,
Pro-B

Thanks for the news, Rob! It's one of my favorites, too - so no hesitation on grabbing the new edition!

Nice! It'd be nice if they had the tv scenes as an extra though.

Holy hell, I had no idea this was even in the works. I love this movie, and I never in my wildest dreams thought I would get a Mickey Rourke commentary. I couldn't be more pleased.

I'll be buying it for the commentary and Robert DeNiro's nails.

Agreed. It's actually a borderline spoiler. (At least, it certainly puts you in a frame of mind to guess what's going on long before you're told.)

Not just one of my favorite movies... my favorite movie!

I'll use the old one as a trade-in at BBV. Or will they even carry the SE Angel Heart? It may be too controversial for 'em.

I hope it's the unrated version. The website says R.

The oder release was labeled as R (though it was actually the unrated cut). I think the running time on both versions is same (112 minutes).

A scene featuring Mickey Rourke and Lisa Bonet having sex was slightly cut before release in order to avoid a X rating. The European theatrical version and US video version restore the missing footage.

According to DavisDVD, the SE will have "a new 1.85 anamorphic transfer".

Yes Yes YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

I just saved a lot on my car insurance by switching to GEICO.

And I'm also pretty psyched about Angel Heart. First The Commitments, then Angel Heart, both in Special Editions. Now I can only pray for an Evita special edition, and my three most wanted Alan Parkers will be covered, and then I can gladly eat my own face.

Now that this is out, has it been confirmed whether this is uncut or not?
