P.S. if anyone is going to pick up one at the bridge (dodging cars, I'm looking in your direction ) , can you try to get me one also. I would love to see the film again before it opens in theaters and I'm not sure when I can get down to the bridge soon. I want a second helping of that crow pie after my little rant on running zombies.

When does the free screening in LA take place? I'd like to go, and will pick up a ticket at the Bridge, but I want to make sure it doesn't conflict with any of the excellent movies being shown at the Lars von Trier retrospective happening this month at the American Cinematheque.


Edit: I misread the original post. I thought those dates were the dates/times that the tickets were going to be made available, and not the date and time of the free screening. Luckily, this screening does not conflict with any of the Von Trier films, so I will try and get tickets by Monday.

Just got my passes.

Just walked in at EB City Center (Columbus OH) and asked the guy at the counter about it. He said that they only have 50 passes though. not sure about other store.

The screening is for 3/16 at 7.30pm. Unfortunately...I have finals that day (at exactly that hour too) ...so I'll probably give the passes to my roommate.

Picked up my pass at The Bridge in L.A. today. The guy said they just started giving them out today. No display or anything so you pretty much have to know to ask for it. Only one pass per person though but each pass is good for two people.

The EB at the bridge is on the second floor across from the rubios and next to the theater box office I believe. Picked up one pass today. It was put in today's L.A. Weekly, so I would expect that they will start going a bit quicker now that they are advertised...

Are you sure by "The Bridge" you didn't mean the "Howard Hughes Pavilion"? Because the address for the EB games is at the Howard Hughes Pavilion, off Sepulveda. The screening at at The Bridge, which is on Beverly, a few blocks east of Fairfax. Which is it, so I don't go to the wrong one again tomorrow?

It's off the Howard Hughes Pkwy where I would assume it's the Pavilion, but they do classify that as "the bridge" as is seen by the name off the building. Sorry you wasted time going to the wrong place.

Well, I have to say, I've have never displayed so much stupidity on DVDTalk as I have in this thread. First I misread the post and think that the times/dates listed are when the tickets are available, not the dates of the screenings. Then I confuse The Bridge with The Grove. I would delete all of the posts proving how stupid I am, but I hope that someone on the verge of suicide reads them, realizes that there is someone worse off than them, and decides not to go through with it.

Tomorrow I will go to the Bridge and pick up my ticket.
