Final Countdown Special Edition Review by Obi

I coaxed Robert "Obi" George out of retirement to take a look at Blue Underground's upcoming release of Final Countdown.

You can find it here:

I already pre-ordered mine today and I also got a copy for my parents since they are big Kirk Douglas fans. I also like the extras It might be interesting to find out what the Jolly Rogers have to say about the stars and how they made this film.

The pilots basically respected the professionalism and work ethic of most of the cast and crew, with one exception.

Well, I do mention the name in the review. As for what the guys said, that is their story to tell (check out the disc).

Is the one exception a certain actor who stars in a highly rated show on NBC?

I agree with gutwrencher, pre-order the movie because I can easily see a store like Best Buy not stocking this on release day.

Or just actually read the review.

"These guys are a bit more subdued than Kaufman, but no less honest, even sharing one unflattering anecdote about Katharine Ross."

I don't like to order on the net. Credit Card number was stolen once before. I don't trust it anymore.

If you must get it at a B&M, Best Buy has been pretty good about Blue Underground movies but I'd be sure to get there on (or near) release day.

thats a bummer. well, you could reserve it at a few stores. both are higher priced...but you can reserve it for free at Borders Books...if you have one near you. you can do it through the website in the inventory of your store page. or...just call. then there is the dreaded Suncoast....but it will cost $5, I think, to reserve it.
