Please reccommend a good Multiregion DVD player
Thinking about going multi region.
Must haves:
BEST POSSIBLE Picture/Sound
Proper NSTC-PAL conversion
DD/DTS
Component/Opitcal
Exceptional reliaiblity (i.e., problem free)
Multidisc capability (not really a requirement, but it would be nice)
Saw the PIONEER DV-563A at HKflix.com, looks nice.
Any suggestions?

A good one is the Philips 727 which can be made region free (with a few remote button pushes) and does perfect PAL to NTSC conversion and does Anamorphic PAL to NTSC conversion with correct aspect ratio that most others have problems doing.

I have the Toshiba 4900, and I must say that it is a great player. All my region 2 disks play flawlessly in it and produce a great picture. Only problem I have run into with it is I use the componet output on my highdef tv, but when I took it to my friends house to watch some of his disks he only had rca inputs.
The problem was that it would not see the rca output without resetting the player and I did not know how to do it. Ended up looking it up on the web so we could get the player to work.
