what is a good $2000 TV
My inlaws are in the market for a new TV and looking to spend $2000. HDTV isn't an issue since they have analog cable and may not want to upgrade to digital. Widescreen is also not an issue since they don't have a DVD player and probably won't get one in the near future. Their TV is from the 1980's I believe and they are looking to upgrade.

Given all that you said, these good folks do NOT need to spend that much on a TV they will not use the majority of features on.
