Need HELP changing "art" in CD cases..

Heya,

I just bought a CD that I didn't notice had a good crack in the front of the case. They covered it with a sticker (punks), so I couldn't see it. I already opened it too and can't return it nor do they have other copies. Anyways.

Is there a way for me to take the art fromt he CD and transfer it all to another CD? The little booklet is obviously easy, but I mean all the other stuff. There must be a way to do it if they were able to make it in the first place...

Any help would rock.

Thanks!

If you bought it from a major retailer, they would probably take it back and give you a new copy since it was technically damaged under their watch.

You mean in the jewel case? You can pop the part the cd sits in right off. Find the groove under the part by the hinge and the back part comes apart.

I remember doing this for the first time in 1986 when I bought Dark Side of the Moon.
