MY HT PICS are Up!

Finally I got the digital camera and now have shots of my HT up on Webshots...

The shots of the LCD do not do justice to the actual quality of the image so take those shots with a grain of salt..

Alot of people stack their DVD side by side, but I have made 2 top mini-shelves to display some of my favourite dvd covers/boxes...like six feet under...Sopranos...fight Club..

Give me input guys on what you think....

Everything looks good. Your link in your post doesn't work though. Also, there's a thread already about this in the DVDTalk section here.

Now you know one more. I have the same one (beautiful poster) but it's autographed by Pacino.

GodFather 3 was not a bad movie, its hard to out-do Part I and II so peoples expectaions were too high and anyways the poster is amazing.

For taking pics of your projector, do you have a tripod? I've found I get the best pics of mine if I put it on the tripod and set the camera for a longer exposure and set the timer so that by the time it takes the picture, the camera is completely still.

Are those Bose™ speakers?

[runs from thread, head held down low]

j/k, nice HT. From the way you highlight your poster collection, I can tell you are really into the movies themselves, and are not just another AV fetishist.

Hey there's nothing wrong with being an AV fetishist, as long as you love the films and music as well

Certainly. It's just that all too often I run into people with kickass HTs that never even watch movies in them, or if they do it's some high production value poorly acted/scripted/directed hollywood blockbuster because they had a shelf full of them at BBV. Power to the movie buffs who can afford a nice HT!

Man, which digicam do you have? The pics look like crap, and I'm saying that only because it's true.

And what's up w/ the lightning? Looks like you either don't have money for electricity or can only afford 25 watt light bulbs.

It's probably not because of a shitty digicam, it's because there simply isn't enough light to capture a decent image. You don't want light when it comes to Front Projection. Like I said, he probably just needs a tripod and a longer exposure.

In response to the above 3 posts -

1) No, I'm just telling it like it is. If you want ass kissing, do a search, there's plenty around here.

2) You do when you intend on taking some decent pics for showing.

3) What he needs is adjustable lighting, which solves half of his bad pic problem (still don't know what digicam he uses, so can't judge the 2nd half of pic problem). Turn up the lights when he wants to take a pic or not watching movie, turn it down when he's watching stuff.

Hay Fuzzy...

The Cam I'm Using is the Casio QV-R40 4MP Review

The Lights are turned down I've got Tubes in the ceiling but I think it looks better this way not with the Tubes on...the light are the halogan spot lights you see near the Posters.

I think the poblem is I need to take them with a Tripod...

I'll try to take some again..with the flash on.

Nice pics. I love the Six Feet Under poster, especially because it have your reflections in it.
