I need help choosing between 2 televisions.

My TV, which has lasted me around 8 years, is in its death throes. I'm looking at these two televisions: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...%3A3996%3A4560 and http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...%3A3996%3A4560 . I chose these televisions because they are inexpensive (under $200), and have a 27" display (I used to have a 19"), stereo, S-video, and plenty of inputs. I have a receiver, so the speaker quality isn't important to me. I'm only going to use it for DVDs, since I don't watch television. I'm leaning towards the Orion, because the screen looks nearly flat, and my friend has had his for a year and is satisfied. Anyone have one of these, or can recommend one over the other? Thanks.

Just going by their reputation, I would avoid anything Apex.

I would recommend an RCA. I have a 27" RCA floor model I bought 4 years ago and it still works.

If you still want Apex, I would suggest buying an extended warranty, as they are not know for quality.

Hmm, I could get the 27" RCA for only $11 more. I'm surprised I didn't notice it on Wal-Mart's site before. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation, jasonr114.

RCA's quality control has gone down the tubes in recent years since the buyout from Thomson.
