The new Quizno's commercial seriously disturbs me

If you've seen it, you know what I mean.

If you haven't, here's a preview

The animation and voices of these "things" makes 'em even worse. The web site has downloads. Eww.

Didn't Togos have a man sucking a wolf's tit last year?

It's hard to outdo Jared I guess, and you do whatever you can!

Ugh, I saw one of these earlier tonight. What are those things supposed to be, anyway? They look kinda like dead mice or something, which isn't exactly the best mascot for a food place.

Pretty sure that was Quizno's. At least that ad was somewhat funny in a gross way. The new one is just disturbing.

I wish they had just used the cats, but I guess they didn't want to seem like they were copying VH-1. I can't believe Quizno's paid that guy for that crap. The cats with real songs were cute, but not the garbage that him and his buddy perform.

I saw these over the past couple of days and all I could think is that this is not the way to sell sandwiches.

I saw this ad for the first time tonight, and I thought it was hilarious. Afterwards I might not say "Damn, I sure want a sandwich now," but it did entertain me a great deal

Christ, I was just getting ready to start a thread about this. I saw the commercial during tonight's showing of "Angel" on TNT.

I'm like, "What the hell?"

Those little bastards are going to give me nightmares.

I also came here just to start a new thread about this. This is, without a doubt, the worst commercial I have ever seen. It's not funny. It's not clever. I just sat there after it and said to myself "WHAT the F was that !??" Very disturbing stuff.

So is that what is supposed to happen to you when you eat at Quiznos? Were they normal before they went to Quiznos?

I haven't seen that one--just the one about taking in any coupon (for anything form anywhere) and using it at Quiznos

Go to www.quiznos.com to see both ads (you need to have quicktime). I never saw either ad on TV, and only got interested after seeing this thread - my co-workers and I were cracking up watching them since we go to the nearby Quiznos frequently.

Apparently, they're monkeys who are "maniacs for toasted subs".

awesome ad if you ask me. it was hilarious. finally something fresh and new. a little cooky is better than bland and boring. beer commercials are all the same now...forget it, it seems like all commercials are the same. at least this stands out. my wife and i were on the floor laughing.

Ha. I love this commercial for some reason. Like a mutant baby of a hamster, guini pig, and rabbit...I esp. like the one with the guitar.

They're just gross.

Yup. The wife and I saw this last night and were both disturbed. Some things are funny on the internet and not so funny as sandwich ads.

Grosses me out and I won't go to Quizno's. Has to be one of the worst ads I've ever seen (short of Vern Fonk Insurance... but I think he's local)
