It's time to look back at Kung Pow: Enter the Fist

This is an odd one. The type of movie I would have hated if I had paid to see it because it was not what I expected, but having watched it many times it is fantastic. Reminds me of Little Shop of Horrors. I did pay to see that and it was not what I expected and I hated it. It grew on me, and now I love it.

But Kung Pow is exactly what an MST3K fan needs to evolve to. Actually, that's an overstatement as I wish we had new MST3K to enjoy, but this is the next best thing. Definately can watch it over and over. And there is a sequel getting ready to start filming. Tongue of Fury.

No way, guys! Kung Pow was absolutely hilarious! After it got through a few crappy Zucker-ish gags, it really took off.

But maybe it was just me... There were only two people left when I saw this in the theaters; my friend and I. About ten people got up and left during it.

When Oedekerk screamed, and popped a vain in his neck, I almost died.

Is the second one being released in theaters?

I love this movie and thanks for the info about the sequel. Might even have to catch that in the theater.

Very funny movie. A couple of annoying gags that got old, but it was entertaining.

I watched it.. I'd almost be willing to say Matrix Reloaded was better.

I loved this movie, it was hilarious, and obviously intentionally stupid. Can't wait for the sequel.

Cause the Razzie's only nominate movies that are fashionable to pick on.

thought the movie was funny as hell
I think the most underrated part that everyone overlooked
was how well it integrated the old film footage with live action
it looked pretty seemless to me

This movie was terrible. I got it used at BBV for $6.66 with a buy 2 get 1 free sale. After watchin' it, I took it back and the guy actually let me exchange it cuz he thought it was terrible too.

This is a good form of torture for someone. When I have kids, I'll punish them by forcing them to watch this.

Bring me my rubber gloves. I will show you the fist of fury.

It's a funny movie. Might depend what mood you are in or who you see it with to appreciate it. The cow scene ruined it a little for me though.
