Bonk's Adventure for Gamecube!

I got an import copy of this today at my local import shop. Then I bought a freeloader at my store for $6. The game is awesome, a full on remake of the original Bonk's Adventure. Not sure if this would be released domestically, but it was only $40 and I don't have to track down a Turbo Grafix 16.

Man I loved Bonk! I remember renting a TG16 long ago with this game. Good stuff! I wish this was coming to the US, I'd pick it up.

Bonk was a VERY short game.. it was great fun though.. I'd hope they added some stuff to it.

Man, that game rocked, so did bonk's revenge. I would easily pick up a disc containing all the bonks.. Throw in splatterhouse & keith courage too.

Turbo Grafx 16 is what got me into the Ys series. Love that machine.

No, its a 2D remake of the original game, better graphics and sound. Looks like a lot of fun.

I'm digging the game, from what I can remember they have changed stuff. On the TG16, I beat the first one in an hour or two, and with no trouble. This time the second boss kicked the crap out of me this time. I wish I could find the differences but my basis of comparison is from 15 years ago.

They also redid Adventure Island the same way, if anyone remembers that game. I've been interested in picking up both of them, but haven't yet. I may have to...

Super sweet. Bonk and Adventure Island were awesome. Mega Man Collection is coming soon too. GCN has some good filler between big titles-plus GBA stuff.

At Playasia.com you can get both of them as a "combo" for $67 + shipping...I think shipping is a couple bucks to the US.

Good company also, ordered many things without a problem.

Star Soldier, it's a verticle scrolling shooter. If you like Ikaruga you'll like this too.

I was looking at that one also. Is it worth getting? I loved Ikaruga, although I didn't think it had the greatest replay value.

IMO yes it is. The replay value in Star Soldier is in the 5 minute mode. It's a time attack for best score, it can create great and historic rivalries between friends.

Shooters don't always have the best replay value and are not for everyone. If you like shooters, I think you'll like this.

Sounds good, I am down with some old school remakes.

Or you could get it for the NES, like me, but now I will pick it up for GC as well, where can I get the freeloader for $6, also they need to rerelease Bonk 3, I had to pay $140 for a complete copy of that for my turbo duo
