Is there a wireless controller that'll work w/ multiple systems

Specifically an Xbox and PS2? It would be nice to eliminate both controllers (and the wires) and just have one to use w/ both machines.

A multiconsole, wireless controller. Brilliant! I'd buy one.

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing.

I think the only way you could accomplish is is by using an adapter... PS2 -> Xbox adapter.
I assume you could plug in the wireless receiver into the adapter and go from there. Obviously not the best solution.

Who makes the usually accepted as "best" wireless controllers then (assuming one company makes them for multiple systems). Maybe it's time to petition them

I don't think that Nintendo would be likely to make any adapters for the Wavebird.

I plan to get the PS2 airstyle (based on reviews here and IGN) and then adaptors for each console (I already have PS2 adaptors for the GC and DC anyway).
