Do u prefer Leon or The Professional?

I'm getting one of them, but I dont know which cut is the most prefered? Any opinions? Is longer the better?

Out of curiosity, why was the US version trimmed?

Get the uncut international version.

Don't settle for the US cut.

I like the international version a little better, plus that is the version used on the Superbit release.

They are both dear to my heart, but Leon is much better. Besides, as noted, that is the version used on the Superbit so you can't lose.

Actually, you can lose since the SuperBit edition is a load of crap. If you wanna get Leon... then pick of the original release.

I like my Superbit a lot, it looks really good. It isn't the sharpest Superbit I have ever seen, but the picture I think is much better than the other releases of this particular movie I have seen. This movie is one of my favorites so I have seen them all, but to each their own.

The international release adds more meaning to the grenade pin. More training to become a 'cleaner' and deeper relationship between Portman & Reno. Definetly the original.

Censored or cut versions = Always Bad
Director's cut = Usually good

The only surprise here is that 2 people (so far) have voted for the The Professional. Neither posted their reason as to why they prefer that version, though. I'd be curious to know they thoughts here...

Leon.

Although, wasn't there a big beef about the Superbit picture quality being worse than the original release a while back?

Leon. The U.S. cut was already amazing when I saw it back in '94, but when the Integral version came out, it put the movie up on a whole new level.

The Professional sounds like The Specialist, The Recruit, and The [insert any profession].

Leon is better.

Leon: The Professional is much better.

I believe so. Check out the reviews at a few sites before you buy.(DVDTalk, digitalbits, IGN, and many others)

I probably read 6 reviews for Mask of Zorro: SB before deciding not to upgrade from the SE. Differences were minimal.

The director's cut in this case would be US cut.
