Are third-party PS2 component cables in eBay good?
I am looking for PS2 component cable, I found the first-paty ones for about $25. The third-party ones in eBay are around $10 shipped. The question is, are these third-party PS2 component cables good?
If it matters, I am hooking up the PS2 to my Sony 51-inch RP/HDTV.

for $10, i'd try it. should be ok. i use a pelican, i think. just make sure the length is sufficient.
but, i'm a disbeliever of high end cables except that they provide a psychological boost. as long as it has decent shielding, it should suffice.
others will disagree.

I'm pretty sure that Best Buy had the component cables for ~30.00 but, Circuit City has them for 25.00. I would suggest using the gamer gift card at CC. As far as pelican cables, I went through 2 different Pelican S-Vid cables for GCN and both were complete and utter crap. I then ordered the S-Vid cables from Nintendo direct and have had NO problems. I also have the first party PS2 component cables and the quality is great.

I never had a porb with 3rd party wires before wires seem to be all pretty much the same when it comes to game systems. Yes I know monster makes cables for game systems so they may be better then other wires.
