Scott Steiner thought he received some good news last week when he found out that he would enter the Royal Rumble and have a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, if he could survive the challenge of 29 other men. The good news, however, ended right there as it came with some bad news for Steiner … he is next. On RAW, Steiner will meet Goldberg, a man who will also enter the Rumble on Jan. 25. Goldberg is determined to win the Rumble and gain a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, and is apparently going to try to use Steiner as an example of how serious he is. Will Goldberg’s path to the Rumble meet a bump in the road from Steiner? Watch RAW to find out.

Also, last week on RAW, Stone Cold Steve Austin and General Manager Eric Bischoff came to an agreement that Austin would not interfere with Bischoff as long as Bischoff followed the rules. Austin said his job is to make sure that Bischoff does his. Does this mean that Bischoff will now have a plan to run RAW as he sees fit despite the presence of Austin? Find out on RAW!

The Road to the Royal Rumble continues as RAW comes to you for the final time before the big event from Green Bay. What other developments for the Rumble will happen? Escape the Rules and find out on RAW at 9/8 CT on Spike TV!

i sure hope this show is good tonight...I'd like to be at least somewhat excited about ordering the rumble

I'm always excited for the Rumble. One of the best gimmick matches of all time

2 guys that can barely move.... That better be the 10pm main event.

If this is another show without Victoria, there's gonna be hell to pay.

I won't know about the first hour...NBC decided to "supersize" Fear Factor to 2 hours, and I figured I wouldn't cut off Fear Factor and subject her to the first hour of Raw.

Guess i'll be tuning in in time for the "Main Event"...;)

Guess who's fightin'..?

Geez, Goldberg #30? How pathetic Ugh. I know.

Well.. if he came in at any other #, he'd have to work in the ring for longer than 3 minutes which I'm not sure he's capable of.

THe fun of the Rumble is SOOOO gone.

One of the best PPV's of the year has lost its magic because you no longer have to guess who unlucky #1 is or Lucky # 30. This is suck crap. They pushed the randomness of it back in the day, and the every man for themselvs deal so hard, its now gone. I hope they go back to that some day. It was the only time of the year heals would fight heals and faces would do battle with faces.

Geez, Goldberg #30? How pathetic I loved how they took the whole 2 hours to decide that. What a waste of a show this one was. Only 3 real things happened: Trish/Jericho/Christian story furthered, SCSA demanding Foley show up at the Royal Rumble and Goldberg wins the 30th spot. This had to be one of their worst shows in a while.

The Royal Rumble better have a shitload of surprises and a Victoria appearance.

Christian is definitely carrying Raw on his shoulders now

Christian, Jericho, and Randy Orton = Raw.
