The Princess Bride or Robin Hood: Prince of Theives?

My wife and I watched The Princess Bride over the weekend. I expected her to love it, but she didn't really enjoy it that much, and said she preferred Robin Hood. She liked the Enigo Montoya character, and Peter Falk as the grandfather, but she found the Wesley and Buttercup characters too bland.
What do you think?

How could you not love Vizzini and Fezzik they were such great characters? The Princess Bride is way better than Prince of Thieves

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Princess Bride. At least it doesn't have Kevin Costner's horrible attempt at an English accent.

My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Ahem. I am sorry, but incomplete quotes from TPB are simply not allowed. You forgot the most important word of all:

Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

But, please, don't take it personally. I really mean no harm.

I'm just feeling very short on... charm.

The Princess Bride is a wonderful quotable classic. Robin Hood isn't.

Bride is a good movie (though heavily overrated). I'd say it edges out Prince by a nose or two.

Robin Hood is a good movie. But Princess Bride is a classic. I must have watched PB dozens of times already. I don't think I will ever get sick of watching PB.

Geez, we're getting some lopsided polls lately, with the Die Hard/Speed one and now this. How about some more contenders....

Lord Of The Rings or Willow?
The Godfather or Biodome?
Mulholland Drive or Manos: The Hands Of Fate?
Kangaroo Jack or Crocodile Dundee?
