Well, this was unexpected. The trailer debuted last August, for an expected Christmas time opening. That never happened, though...Now, just today, New Line announced that it will open in less than a month. Hopefully they aren't just dumping it off on us quickly to avoid keeping a stinker sitting on the shelf. Oh well...The trailer actually looked pretty cool.

Yeah, I'll definitely be seeing it. I'm just surprised at how sudden and soon the release date is. I just watched the trailer again and i'm looking forward to it.

I've seen it (can't say how), and it is just ok. I wasn't really impressed by it, but some of the car chases and crashes are pretty great. It seemed like too many cliched bits were thrown in to fill the plot. But obviously, this is only my opinion, and I did see the film a while ago, so it may have been recut since.

BZZZZZ, wrong. No, not a test screening. I would have said that up front, if it were true. I honestly can't say how I've seen the film, I'm just saying I've seen it. I'm not trying to be secretive, I'm just not allowed to say how I've "interacted" with the film.

The film is only going to be released on a little over 100 screens, mostly in the Southwest region of the United States on February 13th. It's another film that New Line is dumping off, just that they're going to give the film a limited theatrical release.

Did HIGHWAYMEN come out this week?!
THe official site says it was out yesterday, some sites I have read say only in about 100 theatres... anyone know?!
I really wanted to check out this film, it looked sorta cool. Maybe this is this years Below and Equilibirum, those films were only in a few theatres before going away in a few days. Both of those were excellent...

I remember seeing a preview for this on some New Line DVD (don't remember what) like last summer. I thought it had already come and went from the box office. The preview looked okay if I remember correctly.
Just checked over at filmjerk, only playing in about 100 theaters and is also only like 75 minutes long.
