Best Gameboy game for a LONG flight?
Okay, I'm leaving for a trip to the Philippines and I need something to kill time on a very very long flight. I'm bringing my Gameboy Advance and I have Advance Wars (first one), Zelda and the Namco Museum for games. Anyone have a suggestion for a good game that I can pick up and use to occupy my fragile sanity? I'm not much into the Final Fantasy style RPG's.
Thanks

Just take a couple of sleeping pills...
Last time I had a Gameboy on a long flight, I thought I'd like to play a long, involving game like Zelda...however, I ended up playing Tetris and Tennis the whole time. You might want to think of getting an easy to play, addictive title instead; Namco Museum sounds like a good shot, and you already have that.
Seriously, you will be so miserable, the lighting will be so bad... something simple, bright and colorful might be your best bet, IMO.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow worked for me on my flight from Atlanta to Hawaii.
Final Fantasy Tactics is also a good choice, even though you say you don't like Final Fantasy type RPG's. I consider FF Tactics more akin to Advance Wars than to a standard Final Fantasy game.

I posted above, but to actually answer the question (LOL), I'd suggest Sega Arcade Gallery (After Burner, Space Harrier, Out Run, Super Hang-On) and Sega Smash Pack (Golden Axe, Sonic Spinball, Ecco The Dolphin). Soccer Kid is also a lot of fun. Lady Sia and Ninja Five-O are great too. Hmmm, most of the games I listed might be a tad bit tricky to find though (though I did just find Sega Arcade Gallery at Wal-Mart).
For games that you shouldn't have any problems locating, you can't go wrong with Super Mario Advance 2 (Super Mario World), Activision Anthology (haven't played the GBA version but most of the games are said to be just fine), Karnaaj Rally (only $10 and an absolute blast - completely addictive), Konami Arcade Advance is fun for Rush'n Attack, and Mario & Luigi is great from what I've played (and I *hate* RPGs).

I'll second both Final Fantasy Tactics and Warioware. Tactics is a great turn based strategy game with some rpg elements and Warioware is frighteningly addictive.
As for me I would also add getting a good pinball game - one of the Pokemon Pinball games or House of the Dead or Sonic. Pinball on the gameboy has kept me entertained for so many hours.

Advance Wars 2, though it won't give you much variety from the first one.
Metroid Fusion would be another good one. You can always reach way back, my favorite airplane games have always been on the original GameBoy:
Dr. Mario, Bases Loaded, and Daedalian Opus (which I doubt anyone has ever heard of).

WarioWare!
I don't think you need any of the other advance wars/final fantasy tactics if you already have Advance Wars 1.
Castlevania or Metroid would do you good though.

WarioWare and Activision Anthology would be great. I also find Pokemon Pinball to be very addicting. Or, get a flashcart and put 100+ classic NES games on your GBA.....
