Adaptation more then 1 version?

So I wanted to order Adaptation from Futureshop.ca but I noticed it was $26 so I figured I would check what amazon.ca has it for.

They have 2 copies listed but they both look like the same movie. One is 23.99 and the other is 19.99.

Is amazon just way cheaper or is there 2 different versions out? I tried searching here but couldn't find anything other then a possible SE release soon but I'm not worried about that.

The 23.99 one says "Language: French".

Actually in the U.S., the there are two versions --- the Superbit and the standard release. The Superbit version looks exactly the same as the standard release except that it has the Superbit logo on the bottom left hand corner.

You may want to hold back; they've done everything except officially announce that a special edition is coming. (Which is to say that, when it came out, they said there'd be a better one, it's been said once or twice in the interim, and the new "Work of Spike Jonze" DVD has a trailer advertising the special edition [annoyingly, it's just the theatrical trailer with a vague "Special Edition DVD coming in 2004* with never-before-seen features" tacked on].)

* = It might just say "coming soon"

There is only one version in the U.S., and that's the Superbit one (just like Panic Room)

I would hold off for the inevitable SE
