The "24" Drinking Game

With new episodes starting up again this week, it's time to dust this puppy off...

The time is displayed. (1 Drink)
There is an explosion, a bomb going off, or a plane/helicopter crash. (1 Drink)
Someone uses a cell phone. (1 sip -- these *will* add up, so go slow!)
There is a major plot twist that renders a significant amount of work done by CTU/Jack Bauer useless. (1 Drink)
Someone you thought was with the "good guys" is revealed to be in with the "bad guys." (2 Drinks) If vice-versa (3 Drinks).
Someone is held at gunpoint. (1 Drink)
A defibrulator is used (1 Drink). If it actually saves the persons life. (2 Drinks)
Someone dies. (1 Drink) If they're a A CTU / Governmental executive or other major plot character. (2 Drinks) If the person is killed just before they reveal important information, discover something crucial, or solve some puzzle. (3 Drinks)
Jack Bauer unnecessarily unpacks a contraction, such as saying "We can not let him do that" instead of "We can't let him do that". (1 Drink)
Jack Bauer miraculously recovers from an injury or very narrowly escapes certain death. (2 Drinks)
Jack Bauer does something that is against protocol. (1 Drink) If he gets caught. (2 Drinks)
Jack Bauer asks to speak to the president. (1 Drink) If he says "It’s important." (2 Drinks)
Jack Bauer yells, "Drop your weapon!" (1 Drink)
Jack Bauer says, "You just have to trust me" (1 Drink)
Jack Bauer interrogates someone. (1 drink) If Jack gets pissed off and yells, throws things (or them) around. (2 Drinks) If Jack kills them afterward. (3 drinks)
Some computer whiz at CTU decodes, analyzes, decrypts, or hacks something. (1 Drink)
Kim Bauer says or does something extraordinarily stupid. (gets kidnapped, lies to the authorites, etc) (2 Drinks)
An old character who you thought was dead, fired, or gone forever comes back to surprise everyone (2 Drinks).
Someone is being a complete *******, or a total moron and is preventing CTU, Jack, or the "good guys" from saving the day. (1 Drink) If the above someone is Kim (2 Drinks)
Someone on Palmer’s staff advises him not to do something. (1 Drink) If he does it anyway. (2 Drinks)
Someone on Palmer's staff does something sneaky behind his back. (1 Drink) If Palmer fires them for it. (2 Drinks)
Information is leaked to the press. (1 Drink) If the leak was unintentional (2 Drinks)
Someone without government clearance is told a secret they aren’t supposed to tell anyone. (1 Drink) They tell someone anyway. (2 Drinks)
Something bad happens three seconds before the episode ends. (Finish your Drink)
Jack Bauer yells, "Who are you working for?!?" (1 Drink)
A character has the same conversation he had less than 30 minutes ago in "24 Time." (1 Drink) It's the same episode. (2 Drinks)
Someone says, "Transfer it to my console." (Everyone designates someone else to take 1 Drink)
Someone pulls up a remote, obscure, and live camera feed. (1 Drink)
Someone on Palmer's staff says, "I'm not Sherry." (1 Drink)
Dessler looks depressed. (1 sip)
President tries to sell you insurance (1 drink) or Jack tries to sell you a truck (2 drinks slowly, it'll be a while).
An unexpected, unwanted Fox promo ruins a major plot point twist in the next episode (1 drink)
A Ford vehicle is prominently displayed (1 drink)
Control of CTU changes hands (1 drink)
Someone at CTU waits for a fellow CTU member to leave their work station so they can get on their computer or some other sneaky thing without their knowledge (1 drink)
Someone on the CTU main floor does something sneaky while keeping an eye on the CTU "God office" upstairs (1 drink)
An ex-lover/girlfriend/wife appears during an episode and causes trouble to their ex-lover/boyfriend/husband (and vice-versa) (2 drinks)
Tony and Michelle have any kind of husband/wife moment, including looks, touches, kissing, hugging, or any other type of PDA (2 drinks) If it happens more than once in the same episode (1 drink per PDA offense)
Any major female character shows any type of "forbidden fruit" (for example, Kim's nip-nips last season) (1 drink per "fruit")
If a character crashes a car intentionally. (1 drink)
Each time Jack Bauer is referred to by his full name (1 drink)
Any public service announcement after the show (á la the recent gun safety PSA) (chug entire beer/drink)
If a recognizable B-Movie star appears on screen (1 drink) If the B-Movie star is a former A-list movie star (3 drinks of sorrow)
Someone recognizable from any TV show (1 drink). If that person is involved with any Josh Whedon show (2 drinks).
Yikes, that's a harsh game. I advise you to play this with LITE beer, or else you'll pass out before each week's "shocking" twist.

25. Jack Bauer yells, "Who are you working for?!?" (1 Drink)
26. A character has the same conversation he had less than 30 minutes ago in "24 Time." (1 Drink) It's the same episode. (2 Drinks)
27. Someone says, "Transfer it to my console." (Everyone designates someone else to take 1 Drink)
28. Someone pulls up a remote, obscure, and live camera feed. (1 Drink)
29. Someone on Palmer's staff says, "I'm not Sherry." (1 Drink)
30. Dessler looks depressed. (1 sip)

5/17 is my anniversary. Nice choice

I'm jealous. I've been wanting Jeremy517 for a while, but alas I have too many posts to change.

This game shouldn't stop at the end of the episode, there's still a little more drinking to be done:

31. President tries to sell you insurance (1 drink) or Jack tries to sell you a truck (2 drinks slowly, it'll be a while).
32. An unexpected, unwanted Fox promo ruins a major plot point twist in the next episode (1 drink)

Y'know someone should really keep score tomorrow night. I'm pretty curious now.

* Someone at CTU waits for a fellow CTU member to leave their work station so they can get on their computer or some other sneaky thing without their knowledge (1 drink)
* Someone on the CTU main floor does something sneaky while keeping an eye on the CTU "God office" upstairs (1 drink)

Just like the other two seasons. Hmm, maybe they think the audience enjoys Kim's stupidity.

the same conversation thing happens at least 2 or 3 times per episode. like last week, when that guy killed himself in front of anne, she told the same story about 3 or 4 times in about a half an hour.

Each time Jack Bauer is referred to by his full name (1 drink).

It's gotta be 5-6 times an episode. Isn't Jack or Bauer enough?

One more:

If a recognizable B-Movie star appears on screen - 1 Drink
If a former A-list movie star that's been regulated to B-List status appears on screen - 3 Drinks of sorrow
Someone recognizable from any TV show - 1 Drink
- If that person is involved with any Joss Whedon show - 2 Drinks.
