X-Box games for $5.

Don't know if you will get them for $5 but Best Buy has made a major mistake. Go here.

Add SPLINTER CELL first then all the rest you add will be $5. They are on back order though as you can imagine. ADD SPLINTER CELL FIRST.

Being on backorder isn't a good sign.

WIth some game deals/misprices in the past at Best Buy (like Panzer Dragoon Orta for $9.99) all the back orders were cancelled without sending out an e-mail notice.

Well, I picked out four game. Not getting my hopes up, but its worth a shot. Good luck to everyone....

I just checked anandtech and fatwallet. Looks like a long shot for delivery. I read people doing in-store pickup and getting their items. Fatwallet thread already 14 pages long and people are ordering like crazy.

i have serious doubts... we'll see though. Order placed for SC, Crash, THPS4, Gotham, Simpsons, and MoH... hopefully these orders will squeek through during post-holiday confusion. .

No stores near me available for in-store pickup which was very disappointing. I made the order anyway; hopefully it will go through.

Bestbuy.com is horrible. I've ordering 3 times from the site and 2 orders went to BO status for a month and just cancelled with no communication what so-ever. They put temp charges on your card that last a few day's regardless if it ever ships or not *FYI*.

I tried to order 4 games but only one is available at my local store, so I'll pass on this one. I have too many games as it is

I said the same thing about that EA deal and didn't order anything. This time I gave it a shot.

I can't add Splinter Cell to my cart, or even access the page for it.

Same here, vanished without a trace. On the other hand I haven't been charged for anything so if it never shows I won't be crying myself to sleep over it.

They pulled Splinter Cell from their site, so this deal is now dead.

Funny how I got two order confirmation pages on their website for my "orders" last night, but they can't find them on their website and I never got an email. They better not try to charge me anything now....

Deal seems to be back. Add Prince of Persia for XBOX to your cart for $49.99 and all Platinum Hits are back to being $5.00 again.

confirmed. but you have to pay $49 for Prince of Persia. Once you remove PoP from your cart, all the prices revert back to normal.

Right, but if you don't have PoP then it's a fine deal.

If you took Splinter Cell out under the other deal the prices reverted back to their normal prices as well.

got a confirmation email a little while ago for my order last night. Still looks like they're planning to ship them with estimated arrival date of 1/12. We'll see.

Should be good to go I would think. The people in store aren't going to know about the online pricing screw up in all likelihood.
