So Close-R1-Columbia

FYI for those who have been waiting on this release. It came out today 12/30. I picked it up on sale at Best Buy for 16.99. They list the retail as 21.99 while most online sites show it as 24.99. Not sure who is correct but it seems like a nice price either way. Details from the case:
Anamorphic Widesreen 1.85:1.
Lang: English Dolby 5.1, French Surround,Cantonese, Mandarin.
Subs: English,French.Chinese,Korean,Portuguese,Spanish and Thai.
Mastered in High Def - 111 minutes.

I'll be watching this soon if anyone cares for a followup review.

I liked this movie, it was very goofy but if I hear another reviewer feel like they have to bag Charlie's Angels to review this film I'll rip my hair out. All the movies have in common is the fact that there are 3 women in leading roles but for those who bag on CA know this, So CLose wouldnt even have been made, got a limited theatrical release or even made it to video if it wasnt for CA.

Incorrect. HK cinema has had a history of female action heros for decades while the girls with guns genre is relatively new in western cinema. I don't see how you can claim that So Close would have never seen the light of day if it wasn't for Charlie's Angels. And yes, Charlie's Angels did suck.

Yes, HK cinema has had a history of chick fighting flicks, but So CLose copies, to me, the style and look of CA, and thats just fact.
