Sub Blowing Fuses

I have a KLH S 100 ETH Sub that's blowing fuses. I'm using 3-amp Fast-acting fuses (250-volt).

I picked up some new fuses at Radio Shack and they blew also. I went to the KLH web site but it was a bust.

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks
~M~

If it continues to blow fuses there is a problem somewhere. A cable is shorted, the sub is overloading . . .

How are the fuses blowing? When it is turned on? When you play a DVD?

My sub blows any time I plug it in to the wall jack. I don't have it hooked up to the stereo just yet. I bet something inside the sub is blowing the fuses.

If they blow when you plug it in then I would say there is something wrong with it.

That's what I thought. I was hoping you could prove me wrong.

Looks like it's time to buy a new sub.

Thanks

The exact same thing happened to me a few years back. The sub was still under warranty, fortunately. I had to pay to send it to the company (a fair amount but well worth it considering the price of a new one) but it was fixed and they paid the return shipping charge. It's worked fine ever since.
