Pioneer VSXD912K any good?

I'm thinking about replacing my 10 year old stereo receiver and also want to build a surround system. I've been looking at this model which has gotten pretty decent reviews and is pretty affordable at around $300. Any opinions on it?

I heavily considered that receiver when I was looking this summer. During my search I found a deal on a Harman Kardon AVR-325 for about $400. I don't regret my decision one bit. The H/K is awsome with plenty of power and features. The amps and power supply in H/K should be much better than the Pioneer. One sign of this is the fact the H/K weighs almost twice what the Pioneer weighs.

Alot of people have been happy with he Pioneer, you should be as well. I'd also look for deals on H/K, or Denon. You should be able to get some great prices on a H/K AVR225, 325 since the new models are now out.
