Problems with anamorphic squeeze distortion on non-flat CRT TVs?

The one comment made on my original post led me to this one? Is there any distortion on a non-flat TV in "squeeze" mode? I'm really thinking about this set (Sharp 27C530 w/ anamorphic for $229), but live in the middle of nowhere and its going to be difficult to check it out. I've had my current Sharp for eight years and its still going strong. So, has anyone noticed this problem on their set?
