How can you pick one? No Woman,No Cry of the 3, but my favorite is probably Toots & the Maytals "24-46 Was My Number"(since Pressure Drop was already mentioned).

"Kaya" or "Stir It Up" would be my choices. But I don't think there is a right answer to this one.

"Legalize it" Peter Tosh

Naw, my favorite would have to be "Johnny Too Bad" by The Slickers.

I still haven't heard the Bob Marley version of No Woman, No Cry, though I've heard the Joan Baez version quite a few times. I'm sure it's a little different.

"The Harder They Fall" - Jimmy Cliff
"Pressure Drop" - Toots and the Maytals
"Israelites" - Desmond Dekker

Sustitute "Many Rivers to Cross" for "The Harder They Fall" and add "Get Up, Stand Up", and that list pretty much nails it.

As a lucky strike extra, I'd personally add "When The Two Sevens Clash" by Culture and "Marcus Garvey" by Burning Spear.

Exodus. That insistent driving rhythm on this song gets me stirred up every time.

Have you heard the alternate version from the Exodus Deluxe Edition 2-CD set? It's not very different but has some tasteful female background vocals on the "rest my eyes on you", "knocking on your door" etc, lines.
Very nice.
