Anyone Remember "Small Wonder?"

This show about a girl who's a robot? Haha, I just thought of this. She lives with a regular family who tries to pretend and play it off like she's a real girl? I remember watching this as a kid in the (late?) 80's.

Just wanted to bring it up to see if others remembered it.

i think the question should be, "Who wishes they could forget it?" my memory of it is a double whammy since it aired w/ The Charmings.
Ahh... the late `80's to mid `90's (otherwise known as ABC's "annoying brat" phase).

Small Wonder...that takes me back....I watched it after it went off the air I think, and can't remember anything about it...that's the sign of a good quality show

According to IMDB.com there were 96 episodes of this drivel. Which begs the question - when is the DVD set coming & will the robot girl do a commentary track?

Let's put it this way:
I still do not think Full House was in any way a bad show (I haven't seen it in years), but I think Small Wonder is still one of the worst shows ever!

Can't recall ever seeing a single second of this show, but of course, I still remember it.

In that pic, the Dad look like a giant 9 year old boy.

Let's put it this way: that means no one will pay any attentiion to your opinion.

Just kidding.

I remember this show. I used to watch it every week (of course I was probably about 7 at the time). I'm shocked that it lasted 96 episodes. I never would have guessed it was on that long.

Screw Small Wonder ... let's talk about Out of This World. Ah ... the glory of mid-late 80's first-run syndication. I can't believe how much I watched this crap. I'm only slightly less embarrassed to have watched other syndicated marvels like My Secret Identity and the ultimate ... Charles in Charge*.

das

* Premiered on CBS with those annoying Pembrokes, but it's essentially a syndicated show.

You know, the theme song to Out of This World started running through my head when I first saw this thread. Mainly because I can't remember the theme to Small Wonder.

I think I repressed memories of these shows until this thread.

I think I wish they were still repressed.

She's a small wonder, a girl unlike other girls.
She's a miracle, and I grant you
She'll enchant you with her sight
She's a small wonder, and make your heart take flight.
She's fantastic, made of plastic,
Microchips here and there.
She's a small wonder, brings love and laughter everywhere."

Man... this is sad...

Sadly, I used to watch all of those shows.
Even sadder, I took an exam a couple weeks ago where the professor actually made a reference to "Charles in Charge" in one of the multiple-choice options on one of the questions.

I liked this show, but more improtantly, I loved Maureen Flannigan, the "alien" daughter.

She was in a few other things, including 7th Heaven I think.

A friend and I were talking about Small Wonder a few weeks ago,
and I was curious what the robot chick looked like in recent time.
All I found was that she is a very devout Christian and works with 'The 700 Club'.

Only photo I found:

I remember liking Small Wonder. Of course I haven't seen it in like 15 years or whatever, but I don't really recall it being that bad.

I watched all of those shows. Also watched Three's a Crowd, It's Your Move, and Too Close for Comfort. Oh, and Jennifer Slept Here, Double Trouble and Partners in Crime. Mine was a childhood of joy.

The Small Wonder cast has not fared well.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088610/

I don't think any of these people have worked since 1992.

My Secret Identity was pretty decent until the producers forgot it was a superhero show.
I few weeks ago, downloaded an epsiode of Out of this World and my god it was horrible!
As for Charles in Charge...I watched this show, not regularly, but I don't remember if it was good or bad.
