Any DVD players out that plays sharp/clear through component,progrssive??
Looking to buy new dvd player that produces a sharp and clear picture through the component cables and progressive scan. Before you say it, i know that when played that way picture is soft but colors are nice and jaggies are non existant.
Now I have a JVC and all that is true, but i bought the Cyberhome 300 for the Multi region. When hooked through component and progressive on, i am blown away. The picture is no where near being soft and fuzzy, but sharp and clear just the way i want it. Problem is , no optical audio out

Can you guys recommend me another player, doesnt have to be multi region, that plays the picture sharp and clear throught the component/progressive setting, and has optical out?? Thanks guys.

No no no. I have one on hold to try tommorow. In the meantime, i'd like to know of a player that might have what i'm looking for. As of right now, i want to move away from JVC players.
