David Spade is going to star in 8 Simple Rules - at least for a guest appearance.

Hmm...the finale wasn't hyped much. I completely missed it. I would've watched had I known.

I'll say it - Someone finally shot them!

That being said, Donnie (with a D) was one of the best sit-com episodes ever.

It was a rather sad, touching finale. Here is the synposis:

Spoiler:
Jack announces his sudden retirement, appointing Maya the new head of Blush. Despite their shock over this sudden announcement, Elliot, Nina, Finch and Maya arrange an office farewell party for Jack who decides to forgo the festivities, retreating to his office to avoid the fuss.

If I remember correctly, nearly the entire episode takes place in Jack's office, with just the main cast reminiscing over the past, trying to get Jack to go out and greet his employees for his own farewell party.

I actually rarely watched it in primetime... usually caught it in syndication. I liked the show quite a bit -- didn't notice it had been canceled.

Check out Slow Donnie (well David Cross) on Arrested Development Sunday Nights on Fox. It is a great new show, and he is a great character (most of Cross' characters are)...
