Place to preorder the new Star Trek: The Original Crew Movies Collection?

I haven't found one myself...

DVDanswers.com reported it would be available sometime in January of 2004... perhaps that's a tad too far off for a preorder?

Discount DVD has it for $55, while Amazon has it for $53. It's only a repackaging of the first three Next Generation crew films, not the anticipated Special Editions we're all waiting for. The first film still is not anamorphic. I'll wait.

he was referring to ST 1-6 repackage with the new 2 disc special editions here:

Well the retail price is $123 so you'd probably spend $80-$90. I got 1-4 from CH for $.49 each and probably am going to get ST 6 for $12 from Amazon and ST 5 for $.49 come January.

I'd buy it for $80-$90... $90 divided by 6 films equals $15 per film, and for the special editions, sounds like a good price to me. And a snazzy box. Obviously not as good as what you are picking them up for of course.
I just wish I could preorder them now... for Christmas wishlist reasons.

North American DVD has the Original Crew boxset with the 6 movie special editions. (12 DVD's total) for $55.99 plus shipping. With a release date of 1/27/04. I've ordered from them a dozen times, good prices and service.
