I'll have some more pics to post when I get home from work.
I got a pic of Granny Smith Apple(Vertie) buckled up in my passenger seat.
I also got some pics while driving back to work.
I have a couple of road signs I know I have to get a picture with.
8 Mile, Welcome to Michigan, etc.
One that I'm sure everyone will get a kick out of, and no spoiling it any of you that know which freeway sign I am speaking of

I would post a pic of it, but am too scared to search for it while at work.

Well, Tangerine Atomique and I had quite a day. First, I must confess. I was a bad father today and nearly killed him. I had an interview to go to, but rather than bring AT along, I left him in the car. It was overcast, and slightly raining, so I thought he'd be ok. Temperatures were probably in the low 80's. Sadly, while I was in the interview, the sun came out and very nearly killed him. I came back just in time to avert a tragedy. A few minutes under the air conditioning vent revived him, but I'm sorry to say that he is no longer extra pointy.
At any rate, here's today's pictures. We also hung out under a black light to verify that he does indeed posess quite the 'glowing' personality. Sadly, the lady at Spencer's didn't take kindly to me taking photos and I didn't have any cash to slip her to make her go away. Oh well, another time perhaps.
First, here is Tangerine Atomique outside Britannia Manor. For those who don't know, this is possibly the coolest house in all of Austin. It's owned by Richard Garriot, who founded Origin and wrote the original Ultima series of games. It's got a dungeon complete with skeleton, secret passages, an observatory, and gargoyles along the roof, among other things. Of course, I'm not allowed inside and you can't see much from the front.
And this is the other side of his house. You can see the observatory easily and if you look closely, some of the gargoyles.
We also went up to Mount Bonell park, which has some of the most scenic views of Austin. Here's a really good picture of Atomique melting on a rock, and you can see the unique Loop 360 bridge in the background. This overlooks some of the most expensive property in all of Austin. Atomique wanted to take this picture to show his french buddies that Texas isn't all flat, or all ranches, or all full of cows.
Here's one overlooking downtown Austin. I need a better camera and day with less smog.
And this is him back home, playing around with his sister Allie.
