album overal that has the most radio singles?

I'd go with zeppelin 4 (everything except for four sticks and when the levee breaks) back in black (i think the entire album one way or the other has been on the radio.)

Def Leppard's Hysteria comes to mind. I know all the songs one Side 1 were released and a couple off of Side 2 (sorry, thinking back to my cassette days).

Not counting "Greatest Hits" albums, "Inivisible Touch" by Genesis has got to be up there. Also "Thriller" by Michael Jackson and "Sports" by Huey Lewis and the News.

This is the first album that came to my mind when I read the thread title.

1.)Women 2.)Rocket 3.)Animal 4.)Love Bites 5.)Pour Some Sugar.... 6.)Armageddon It 7.)Hysteria

I cant remember if "Love & Affection" was a single or not?

But thats 7 or 8 songs. Pretty good.

'When the Levee Breaks' is probably the 3rd most frequently played track from that album, at least around here. Without exaggeration, I hear it a good 3-4 times a week on 96Rock.

As for "Back in Black" talk about an enduring album. I still hear 6 of the 10 tracks in high circulation even today.

over here in baltimoer the most popular songs are bd and r&r, sth (yes they still play it) and gtc. mmh sometimes gets played but not often. i think the entire back in black album gets played constantly over here.

Seven of the tracks on that album made the Top 10.

Born to Run: in NYC growing up (admittedly a skewed area to listen to radio, as far as the Boss is concerned) every single song from this album got significant radio play.

I was going to suggest "Thriller" as well.
ike0000's suggestion -- Matchbox20's "Yourself or Someone Like You" -- may be the most recent; I think that like the first 6 songs were all singles.

I don't really think it's fair to say that Led Zeppelin IV or Back In Black had a lot of singles, because they were never technically released as singles, DJs just play the cuts off the album.

I think Michael and Janet are prolly the only two that have had multi-singles released from their cd's. Just not lately, tho'.

That's what I was going to say also. Back then there were a lot of stations that would play songs that weren't offical singles.

Yes-Tales of Topographic Oceans.

I was thinking of a few, but they don't have this many. A few of the Beach Boys albums had several singles.
