The O.C. 11/5
Didn't see anything for this already.
I loved this episode. It was the chance to see everyone in a different light. Ryan was nervous, Seth was cool, Marisa's Dad was responsible, and Luke wasn't a total ass.
Without a doubt Seth is the funniest character on this show, and his new female friend adds a nice element to the show.

Seth's friend sort of looks like Chris' girlfriend from the Sopranos, but not quite her. It's strange, does anyone else see it? I thought this episode was really funny. The "mad props" line was hilarious.

Good episode. Week after week I love this show for Seth's one-liners. His comment last night about his Dad's "Jewishness" preventing him from being an athlete had me rolling.

I never thought I would like Summer's character as much as I do, but she gets better w/ each additional ep.
Love the little love triangle going on.

I can't believe Fox hasn't already cancelled this show seeing as how it's actually entertaining and all. And when did this show become a comedy? Seth was hilarious with his "Jewishness" line; and FINALLY we see Ryan with ANOTHER facial expression besides his usual blank stare.

Is Summer a permanant character? I noticed that in the credits at the beginning Rachel Bilson is listed in the Special Appearances section. She seems to be a major part of the show so I can't see her leaving at some point.

Peter Gallagher and Adam Brody make this show. The breakfast scene in the kitchen with Sandy, Seth and Ryan was great.
"Seth has women?"
Loved Marissa's dad basically telling Luke to **** off.

I enjoyed this episode. Starting school was a nice way to show the feelings of each character. It gave them all a little more dynamics. Man, one of Seth's lines cracked me up last night but I can't think of what it was now.

Those who "missed it", encore presentation of this episode tonight, Thursday, at 9pm/8pm central in place of the Skin encore that some schedules still have in that slot.

I just got around to watching it over the weekend. This is an ultimate guilty pleasure. It is interesting how the Peter Gallagher storyline seems to always parallel what Ryan is going through as well. Both outsiders of "The OC", so it is neat how they basically end up in similar situations. Can't wait for the enxt one!

Did anyone realize that Mischa Barton (the girl that plays Marissa) is the same girl that got poisoned by her mom in The Sixth Sense? I had no idea until my girlfriend read it in a magazine last night.
