True Crime Release date?
So I have heard the 7th. Then the 4th, now the 3rd. Which is it?
I know they are trying to beat GTA out by a few days but how about letting us know when we can buy it already.
Anyone know when we can expect it on the shelves?

It ships the 3rd. In rare cases, game stores will receive the same date. But, most likely, they'll have it on the 4th.
Big retailers, Target, Best Buy, Walmart, will get it later. Target is supposed to have it out on the 6th with free strategy guide.

True Crime ships, star models for Puma
Nick Kang from True Crime: Streets of LA will be modeling items from Puma's spring 2004 collection at the game's launch party.
Activision and Puma have today announced that Nick Kang, the central character in True Crime: Streets of LA--which arrives in stores today--will be modeling new apparel and footwear from Puma's spring 2004 collection at the game's launch party. Puma has also outfitted Kang and a number of non-player characters in the upcoming action game with a selection of items from its latest fall 2003 collections.
"We knew True Crime: Streets of LA was going to be a massive hit,"(at least someone can see the future ) said Barney Waters, director of marketing at Puma North America. "Videogaming has such a diverse appeal, it's a new medium for Puma to utilize to interact with our consumers and Nick Kang looks great in our gear."
True Crime: Streets of LA sees players assuming the role of ex-cop Nick Kang, who has been charged with the task of taking down the Chinese Triad and Russian Mafia cartel that has turned the 240 accurately recreated square miles of Los Angeles into a battleground. I just called Gamestop, and he says he has the PS2 version, but Xbox and Gamecube won't be out until tomorrow. Oh the humanity.
If I only had my PS2 still......
and yes, I am very impatient
