5 new Bergman titles coming!

From dvdfile:

MGM will also debut special editions of five Ingmar Bergman classics: Hour of the Wolf, The Passion of Anna, Persona, The Serpent's Egg and Shame. Retail will set your back $24.95 each.

If you really can't wait, there's a region 2 release which is also the longer director's cut.

You can find it here:

My advice is for you, your family, and all your neighbors and friends to buy up these 5 MGM releases. The better these discs sell, the faster (and better loaded) we'll see Fanny and Alexander (and, by the same token, resist with all your might the impulse to purchase Columbia TriStar's despicable releases of Pather Panchali, Aparajito and World of Apu by Satyajit Ray).

The only thing the studios understand is the bottom line.

If you can't wait, the Artificial Eye release features the full 5+ hour cut & is pretty darn good (ditto, for their Apu Trilogy box set).
