Top 10 horror films Columbia/Tristar should put on dvd.
Here's a list of horror films that Columbia/Tri-star should put on dvd, already. I'm more of a modern horror film kind of guy (that being 70's & 80's) But I would love to see the classics on dvd as well.
I left off SE's of titles already available. Mus'nt be selfish.
Hopefully these will one day be on dvd in nice new transfers...
01. Night of the creeps
02. Happy birthday to me
03. Night Life (1989)
04. The Stepfather
05. The Monster Squad
06. Gorgon
07. The New Kids
08. Alone in the dark
09. Nightwing
10. The Kiss
Also...
Phantom of the opera (1989)
Blue monkey
Gate II
The Creeping flesh
The Shout
Mutations
The Mad room
What would your list look like?

I have no idea who owns the rights to what, and I probably couldn't come up with enough for a list anyway, but I'll definitely second The Stepfather, and add The Stepfather 3. At least we finally got the 2nd one, but I'd love to have all three.

You forgot my all time favorites....
1 SCREAM OF FEAR with Susan Strasberg and Christopher Lee - even Lee says this is probably his BEST HAMMER film EVER. It's been out of print forever on VHS and one of Hammer's most requested titles.
2 A STUDY IN TERROR - the original MURDER BY DECREE/FROM HELL movie - and it's a really good one. It hasn't been available in years either and also a highly requested title.
Columbia also still has the rights to several less known Hammer productions - but some of them are still HIGH on my want list, so here's hoping for ANY of them:
MANIAC - available on VHS but not in widescreen
THE DAMNED - never available in the U.S.
THE CURSE OF THE MUMMY'S TOMB - never available before
TERROR OF THE TONGS - never available
STRANGLERS OF BOMBAY - never available in the U.S.
THE OLD DARK HOUSE
TWO FACES OF DR.JECKYLL - never available in widescreen
the Columbia/Hammer swashbucklers have also never seen the light of day on home video:
SWORD OF SHERWOOD FOREST
PIRATES OF BLOOD RIVER
SCARLET BLADE
THE DEVIL SHIP PIRATES

I'll second THE STEPFATHER, THE GORGON, SCREAM OF FEAR (aka TASTE OF FEAR), STRANGLERS OF BOMBAY and THE CREEPING FLESH.
And, from the Golden Age, I'd like to add THE BLACK ROOM and THE MAN THEY COULD NOT HANG with Karloff, BEHIND THE MASK with Peter Lorre and CRY OF THE WEREWOLF.
Give me those, and we can talk about the other Karloff mad medico movies and Hammer pick-ups later.

Happy Birthday to Me
Night of the Creeps
Alone in the Dark
The Stepfather
Night Wing
I'd like this one also, but don't consider it a horror film at all.

It's more of an exploitation film, but thematically to me it's a horror film, plus it's directed by sean cunningham.

Corky--- I wouldn't count on that. It was cancelled. As was all those other 80s classics. Triumph does not have the rights to those films.
Whenever the real dvds get announced by columbia, I will be happy.
