is that the singaporean film you are referring to?
it depends on what kind of horror fan you are. if u prefer visual scares(like scarry charred faces) i think you should avoid this.
but like many good asian horror movies this one plays on the mood, and i think it succeeds quite well. one of the few good films to come out of singapore.
