Morrowind GOTY Edition
Is this out yet? I saw it was supposed to be released on the 15th, yet EB didn't have it. Also, Gamestop has a 10-21 release date. Is it out or has it been delayed a little? I really want to pick this up, so I was curious

Amazon seems to have it in stock, but I'm not sure.

How friggin' hard can it be to release a year-and-a-half-old Xbox game with a couple of PC expansion packs added on?

Well it was pretty hard to release it right the first time without all the bugs, so IMO the longer it takes for this one the better.

I think the Xbox version would be better. It's only $30, comes with both expansions and doesn't require an IBM supercomputer to run at a tolerable framerate.

Of course, the typical machine now is considerably faster.
Then again, I suppose for graphical equivalence it might work, but for the improved PC graphics you'll have trouble.

Minimum System Requirements
System: P3 500 or equivalent
RAM:128 MB RAM
CD-ROM: 8X CD-ROM
Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM
Hard Drive Space: 1000 MB
I think it just depends on a couple things:
1. Has Bethesda fixed all the bugs which plagued the original Morrowind release? If not, PC is the way to go because of the patches available
2. Would you rather play a 100+ hour RPG on the couch with a big-screen TV and surround sound setup, or sit on a desk chair for 100+ hours and play on a 17" monitor?

I'd probably rather play on the PC though.
