Non public domain movie released on DVD by most different companies
What's the mainstream, big budget (non public domain) movie released by the most number of studios at different times. Lots of movies have been released by a second studio when the original movie goes OOP. I know of at least one movie issued by 3 different. Are there others? Any released by 4 or more?
And it doesn't count as additional releases if the same studio releases it multiple times.

Well, The Dirty Dozen, Logan's Run and Singin' In The Rain were all MGM titles that were then released by Warner.
The Evil Dead was an Elite release, then an Anchor Bay release(s).
Criterion released 8 1/2 and The Third Man. So did Image.
On the Image tip, they released John Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness and They Live, both now Universal titles.
In short... rights are bought up by, or simply revert to, other distributors.

Army Of Darkness has been released by Universal and Anchor Bay (many times) in the US. MGM released it in Region 3. Of course many movies are released by different companies in different regions.
