Quite possibly the most painful song to listen to. EVER!

It is the worst cover and the worst song to listen to.

Kid Rock and Kenny Chesney's version of "Luckenbach, TX."

I'm spinning in my grave and I'm not even dead yet.

That is pretty much every Kid Rock song for me. You either have to be 14 years old or stupid to like his music.

I thought you were gonna say "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by William Shatner.

never heard Kid Rock but I'm sure I'd hate him.

Sorry, but Toad The Wet Sprocket's cover of "Rock & Roll All Night" is worse.

They take a song that is supposed to be a driving rock anthem, and they slowed it down to where it sounds like they're on a valium / morphine cocktail.

Totally disagree about the pop radio remark. But I do like most of the stuff on radio nowadays.

I don't think I have ever agreed with a statement on this forum more than that one. I hate any kind of group, singer, etc that has to "tell me who he is" over and over throughout the album. I know your f***ing name idiot its on the album!

That said, the Kelly Osborne thing had me wanting to shove pencils through my eardrums.

Well that sums up the entire rap genre. Not just Kid Rock.

yeah the remake isn't exactly good, but thats a god damn classic song, I don't want to hear it.

Deleted. Think of some way to describe something that you think sucks other than calling it "gay." - Static

I saw some video from Lillix(?) the other day on MTV Hits:

In the morning I wake up
I put on my make up
Call you on the phone
But you're not at home
I want to make out
Buy me some take-out...

God, no one's even trying to write good lyrics these days are they?

hmm...I'll nominate

C'est la Vie by Robbie Nevil uke:

although that was written in the 80's so that's probably tied with every other song released then.

Cardiff Giant - "just about anything on pop radio these days"

I'll have to go with what this person said, but I would like to change it to, Everything that has ever been on pop/top 40 radio, ever, not just these days. Even though these days are probably the worst of them all, when it comes to pop music.

Hilary Duff's new one is torture for me. A guy in my office plays it and I am becoming convinced he is a closeted pedophile, or is simply suffering from corrosive incurable bad taste.

HHHmmmm, I think we got off track here.

There are bad singers. This thread ain't 4 them.

There are singers we hate or genres we hate. This ain't 'bout that.

This is about a good singer and a bad singer joining forces to slaughter a great song. I like Kenny Chesney's music, but he must have been smokin' crack to join in on this venture.

Yeah, that shit, "Breathe" by Faith Hill, and almost anything by Celine Dion. I just barfed thanks to these dredged-up aural nightmares.
